Anita Schecter

Anita is a professional recipe developer and food photographer who has spent the last 10 years working with clients across the country. In addition to her blog, Anita's recipes have appeared on the websites of many well-known food brands and in magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Redbook, and more. Additionally, she works to develop and photograph recipes for several kitchen appliance manufacturers.

Her love of Middle Eastern cuisine dates back to childhood, and she likes to joke that she bleeds tahini sauce and sprinkles za'atar on everything. She learned the basics from her mother, an avid cook who spent a number of years in the Middle East and mastered the cuisine, and her father, an amateur photographer. She spent years working for large advertising agencies, honing her skills, and bringing her creativity to writing, styling, and photography.

Anita has turned her degrees in both English and business into a career based on her passion for cooking.
