Cheesy pull apart pizza bread is the perfect party appetizer. It's full of cheese and pepperoni and is topped with garlicky biscuits. Most of the ingredients are premade and can be found in every grocery store, so it's all about quick assembling and baking. It's easy to make but tastes and looks like it took all day.
You can make this recipe vegetarian by omitting the pepperoni. You can also use frozen roll dough, homemade, or store-bought pizza dough instead of the biscuit dough called for. Note: The cook time may vary and take a bit longer.
Serve this for any kind of party, the big game, or just for a fun Friday night dinner. If you're looking to avoid dip sharing, it can be made in individually portioned dishes.

3 cups mozzarella cheese, divided

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

1 tablespoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 (13-ounce) jar pizza sauce

1 1/4 cups pepperoni, thick cut, chopped

2 (16-ounce) cans refrigerated biscuit dough

6 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Steps to Make It

Gather your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Combine 2 cups of mozzarella cheese with the softened cream cheese, ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, basil, and salt in a large bowl. Stir until completely blended and the ingredients are evenly incorporated into each other.

Spread the mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. A slightly smaller dish will work as well, but the bake time may vary.

Pour the pizza sauce all over the top of the cheese mixture, then gently spread to cover.

Top the sauce with the remaining mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle the chopped pepperoni all over.

Cut the biscuits into quarters.

Roll each biscuit into a ball, then place on top of the cheese and sauce mixture.

Place the butter, garlic, and parsley in a small bowl, then microwave until the butter is fully melted, about 30 seconds. Stir in the remaining Parmesan cheese to combine.

Brush about 3/4 of the butter mixture over the top of the each roll. Bake on the lower oven rack, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until the the rolls are golden brown.

Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil, then continue to bake for another 40 minutes or until the cheese layer is completely melted and gooey, and the rolls are baked through.

Let sit for 5 minutes, then brush with the remaining garlic butter. Serve and enjoy.
Recipe Variations
- Try using a homemade or store-bought pizza dough instead of the biscuit dough. Just increase the cook time if needed.
- Make the dip a little spicy by adding a 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
- Add a layer of pesto before the tomato sauce (or instead of the tomato sauce) for an extra punch of flavor.
